Day 3, Friday: Things that make you uncomfortable
I guess I could go into a list of things that stoke my discomfort. I reckon one in general would be ignorant people and people that deal in absolutes. I've always prided myself in my usage of ambiguous and non abrasive, pacifying, politically correct language and people that don't think before speaking or writing generally make me edgy.
Excessively religious people make me uncomfortable too as well I guess. I mean the sort that revolve their lives around their religion and forcing their dogma down everyone else's throats while telling the world they're wrong and belittling your beliefs whilst expecting to be taken seriously and respected. Such wankery I can do without.
Being lied to makes me really uncomfortable as well I'd say. Especially when it's done by someone close and dear to you and you often wonder if they think you're really that stupid and daft that you can't see through the bullshit they're crafting. It's almost an insult to your relationship as friends or lovers, if they don't want to meet say so. If they fell out of love, say so.
Then there's the creepy old men that target me in a borderline pedophilic manner. There's a classy way to tackle someone and then there's just the tactless manner in which you say hello with your not so flaccid penis. God, I wouldn't be complaining if a young fit lad did that but mate the old aren't usually the most physically appealing people now are they. Exceptions do apply of course, as always.
And I guess being shirtless in public. I'm not really apprehensive about nudity when it's time for the down and dirty but in general I'm not the biggest fan of public exhibition. It's not that I have a terrible body or anything but I'm just not that comfortable showing skin to all and sundry. Who knows, maybe once I settle on a hardcore workout regime my ego might inflate to such a point where no known shirt can hold back the wonders I may have to offer. Heaven forbid!
Those are just some that I can think off the top of my head. I guess I can take solace in the fact that they're not really unreasonable or that uncommon. Your turn.

People That Rub Me The Wrong Way
I think I'll rant abit, like a bitch in heat because I'm feeling a tad annoyed at a variety of different people and I guess I'll just let off some steam here. There are categories of people that annoy me and test my goodwill. For instance there are some friends that will tell you they're coming for a visit and might want to meet up then decide against it because apparently you're too low on their schedule of priorities. I'm talking about people you make an attempt to keep in touch with because you'd think they're people you'd like in your life and vice versa but sometimes they don't give a shit. Friendship is a two way road and I can't be clapping the solo beat forever.
Or those that come by and say let's party or lunch/coffee only to change their minds and not reply to your texts after they do so. When you lot need me for favours I always reply and do my utmost best to help. When you people need an accommodation even at the most random hours and at the shortest notices I give you that, and then you fuckers just disappear and hang about London and don't even call. Or reply. Here's a finger.
Then there are others that just stop replying or dodge questions asked by diverting the topic. That's incredibly rude to do that multiple times in a conversation. If that even is a conversation. Or those that start conversations with you because they need your help and then trail off because you're probably not the most interesting person in their priority list. Oi, you, you and you all of you. Fuck yourselves really. One scenario I can deal with, two waltz, three whatever but if it just goes on and on with a variety of people it gets frustrating as hell.
And honestly to those of you that actually know me in real life. If you're not going to make an equal effort to keep in touch with me, or if you're only going to look to me for favours, I will disappear from your lives. I've come to the point in my life where all the useless dipshits are going to be cut off bit by bit and only the core friends matter. Really, so many of you are such disappointments. Whatever I don't give a flying tickle about it.
6 separate incidents this week. All of you are making my blood boil. Whatever.

The Reject
I turned down a lad recently and he's not taking it too well it would seem. It begun as a platonic series of chats I would have over the Jack'd app like most of us usually would when he decides to add me over Skype and Whatsapp. Fair enough, I'm all for making friends and what not. Said person proceeds to message far beyond what constitutes friendly borders and I reply within the platonic confines I'm obligated to.
Then the kisses start coming in. Bloody hell, warning lights start going off there. I tend to be friendly and listen to people's problems and entertain them but sometimes these signals get mistaken for interest. No, just no. If I were interested I would have gone the extra mile by now. So I do what any sane, reasonable and moderately considerate human being would do at that time and tell him the truth, that I see him as a friend and that I have people in my life already.
So he goes into the whole "yes okay I understand" and "wish you guys the best" kind of tone and I would have thought the matter was settled. Until I start seeing all these passive aggressive statuses popping up all over the place on Skype and Whatsapp and even on Jack'd about how I broke his heart and led him on. You have got to be fucking me. Here are some gems to go by:
Someone like you, but better.
Should have seen it coming, should have seen him playing.
Just had my heart broken by a boy that led me on.
If your heart is being broken this easily you might want to reassess your general mental and emotional fortitude and start jogging it up to the level of a functional human being. I've been dumped unceremoniously by the love of my life for another and cut off from him altogether before. That's heartbreak. And I picked up the pieces and moved on and made something of my life. Don't wallow in self pity and guilt for fuck's sakes. We've never even met and have only talked over Skype once Jesus.
I obviously voice my displeasure at him and he then profusely apologizes and said it was made in the heat of his "anger and sadness". How dare you get angry at me over rejecting you? I have no obligation to give you anything especially having never developed feelings for you or leading you on to begin with. Goes into a tirade to justify his actions which I promptly ignore. And then finally he puts this new gem on his Skype today:
GONE. Not around any longer.
Good on you mate, that you need to tell all and sundry. Now sod off and leave me be. I've got enough on my plate with my course and with regards to my love life. I'm returning to see someone soon and need no further complications at the moment.
